CARE

    OUR LINEN

Machine launder in warm water, not hot water, on a gentle cycle - our partner recommends no higher than 40 degrees.   Use a mild non-bio eco-friendly detergent without added bleach, whiteners or softeners.  Do not rinse in liquid fabric softener, this only serves to coat the fibres.

We encourage all our clients to air dry their sheets, not only will it save on energy but the sun is a natural whitener.  If machine drying is necessary, tumble dry on the lowest setting and remove sheets whilst damp to prevent overheating and drying out.

If desired press sheets whilst slightly damp on the reverse side of the fabric using a steam iron on the warm or silk setting.  Please be aware that some facial creams and body lotions contain ingredients which may cause discolouration.

Keep spare sheets in a cool, dry closet or draw.  Provide lining on the surface where linen is placed, to help keep the sheets from yellowing, this can occur through transfer of colour from shelves.

CARE

    OUR BEDDING

OUR BEDDING

Our bedding can be machine or hand washed in warm water, not hot water, on a gentle cycle - our partner recommends no higher than 40 degrees.  Use a mild non-bio eco-friendly detergent without added bleach, whiteners or softeners. Do not rinse in liquid fabric softener, this only serves to coat the fibres.

We encourage all our clients to air dry their bedding, not only will it save on energy but the sun is a natural whitener. If machine drying is necessary, tumble dry on the lowest setting and remove duvets and shake a few times during the cycle. Alternatively, if lumps do appear in the pillow we suggest placing a tennis ball wrapped in a sock in the dryer to beat the lumps out of the pillows as they dry. It may take more than one drying cycle to completely dry the pillow. Most pillows lose their lumps at this point.

Do not iron or bleach,
